Since our founding, we have been focused on the functional monoclonal antibody targeted GPCR in order to create new fields in GPCR drug discovery.
Our core technology is the MoGRAA® Discovery Engine, which is a cutting-edge technology for the development of clinical functional antibodies against GPCRs.
We aim to contribute to people’s health by pioneering new fields in drug discovery targeting GPCRs.
当社は創業当時よりGタンパク質共役受容体（GPCR）創薬において新しい分野を切り開くべく、GPCRを標的とした機能性モノクローナル抗体に着目してきました。

Our original GPCR-targeted antibody discovery technology platform “MoGRAA® Discovery Engine” can continuously create multiple seeds for the drug.
We will promote research and development through both in-house development and early out-licensing, for the purpose of the clinical use of our functional GPCR-targeted antibodies.

Dr. Takayama worked for more than 12 years as a research scientist at Taisho Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd, Japan, where he was involved in various drug discovery programs for chronic inflammation and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
After leaving Taisho, he founded NBHL in 2006.

2006年7月にNBHLを設立、代表取締役就任。

Dr. Takasaki worked as a research scientist or research manager at Astellas Pharma Inc. He has significant experience and knowledge of drug discovery research across various disease fields such as hematology, immunology, inflammation, cardiovascular, cancer, neuroscience, and of research technologies such as target discovery, drug screening, biologics/antibody, protein engineering.
During the last 7 years, he has conducted broad healthcare business developments such as digital therapeutics, medical devices and consumer services.

高崎 淳 , Ph.D.
ヴァイスプレジデント/研究開発部長
アステラス製薬株式会社にてリサーチサイエンティスト及びリサーチマネージャーを務める。さまざまな疾患分野における創薬研究の豊富な経験と知識を持ち、血液学、免疫学、炎症、心臓血管、がん、神経科学の研究及び技術開発を行ってきた。特にターゲット探索、創薬スクリーニング、生物製剤/抗体、タンパク質工学に造詣が深い。
また、事業開発責任者として7年間、デジタル治療、医療機器、消費者サービス等、ヘルスケア分野で幅広く事業開発を主導した実績を持つ。

VP of Business Development
He has over 15 years of experience in business development in pharmaceutical companies and biotech startups. He has out-licensed many drugs and diagnostics and led more than 10 drug out-licensing and collaboration agreements with pharmaceutical companies as well as academia.
In his last two biotech startups, he was responsible for business development as well as project management and fundraising. He has a broad network of contacts not only in pharmaceuticals, but also in diagnostics companies and bio-startups.

ヴァイスプレジデント/事業開発担当部長
製薬企業およびバイオスタートアップで15 年以上事業開発に従事。新薬および診断薬の多数の導出をおこない、10 製品以上の医薬品の導出入およびアカデミアとの共同研究契約をリード。直近2社のバイオスタートアップでは、事業開発に加えて創薬事業の立ち上げおよびプロジェクトマネジメント、資金調達を担当。製薬のみならず診断薬メーカー、バイオスタートアップで広いネットワークを持つ。

Profile
Dr. Tomo Anzai is the COO and a Managing Partner of FTI. Prior to joining FTI, Tomo acquired a range of consulting experience serving the pharmaceutical industry at Arthur D. Little (Japan).
He joined FTI in its early days and has been involved in the development and strategic governance of our portfolio companies. He invests in, and guides both Biotech and HealthTech startups and has contributed to a handful of successful exits of portfolio companies as a board member.

博士号取得後にアーサー・D・リトル(ジャパン)に入社。2006年にバイオ・ヘルステック特化のVCであるファストトラックイニシアティブに参画。ファンド運営責任者としてバイオテック・ヘルステック領域の案件発掘から企業設立、育成、投資回収までの業務全般を担当。ハンズオンでの経営支援に15年超の実績を有する。
現在、東京と米国ボストンの２拠点で投資活動を展開。
